Sounds like your friend is a chaser. For him the excitement is in the hunt. That means he'll flirt and chase until he's caught you. Then the thrill is gone. This guy is not boyfriend material if thats what your thinking. So don't get too attached. But if you enjoy playing the game. Just ignore him and he'll be chasing your tail again before too long.

Its so funny how attraction works. It happens so often. Somebody likes you and you dont feel the same, then something happens, and he is no longer interested, or is finally sick of the chase and you all of a sudden want him.
Either one, you really miss the fact of him chasing you and dont like that he stopped. There was no challenge before because you knew you could have him when you wanted. Now you cant.
Or two, you realized he is a nice guy and would like to spend more time with him. Most likely its number one.
But if you really want to hang out with him more, you have to talk to him. Tell him you would like to hang out and get to know eachother more. Whats the worst that could happen? He will say no, which you said to him a million times before.

It sounds to me that he was just playing the chase game. I would just move on. I think that you noticing this change in how he is around you is answer enough without having to ask him what his problem is.

He's playing the same game you played. You can either waste your time pursuing him or forget it and move onto someone that will give you the time of day. I would move on.

be honest with him.. ask him whats up with him.. maybe he is shy now that you kissed...
or maybe he just liked the way you all were playing around and now that he knows you like him he got scared off...
you won't know for sure until you ask him...
