Seems like so many chicks get mad, why? do they feel left out or in competition?? wtf is going on here ladies?? Give us guys a break !!! If it weren't for football, many of us would go nutso

Its obvious why. When you are watching football, you are not paying attention to your "chick". The more time that you do not include her in, the more she gets mad. Maybe if you guys could plan it so that she could go out with the girls while you watch football with the guys, the situation would improve. The more hobbies and things that you leave her out of, the more your relationship will suffer. Find other things that you two can do together to try and make up for the time you spend trying not to go "nutso"....

I have a boyfriend that is really into football. Yes sometimes I do get a little bored or something because its on all day long, but I really do not get mad. He will still pay attention to me and stuff, but if he did not then I can see why a woman would get mad. How would you feel if for 2 or 3 or 4 days a week your girlfriend choose to do something else all day long without paying any attention to you. I am sure you would not like it. Its not the football that they get mad at, its that some men act like the game is the one who is get more attention, mean while there is a woman there who cooks and cleans and has sex with you and is not getting anything in return.
So my point is, when football is on, make sure that the girl is also getting the attention she needs, there should be no competition. She should come first.

I think it's a couple things..
They don't like football, understand it, or have any interest in understanding it.
They want you to pay attention to them, instead of football.
My question to you is... if you're speaking about your girlfriend or wife...
Do you pay enough attention to her outside of football days?
My girl lets me watch football (I'm one of the lucky ones). I do however make a sincere effort to spend time with her, doing what she likes for a few hours a week also. I also make sure that before football is on, I have my responsibilities for our relationship and home met.

I was born and raised in Ohio SOOOOO..........males & females both love football!
However, being an old lady, here is my advice to females who hate it when their guys watch football a lot:
GET OVER IT
FIND SOME HOBBIES OF YOUR OWN
If you want to be supported and loved in life, then always support the interests of those you love. You both will become more interesting people if you each have your own interests.

We Dont get mad WHEN you watch football, Its HOW much you watch. If you are in a marriage or a relationship, balancing football and your wife/girlfriend is needed.
I love football! And I dont make my fiance feel guilty for watching football, but He has his limits.
If he wants to watch a lot of football, I just make sure he gives me time alone, just me and him before the games start.

Because you shut down all communication with the present and live vicariously on the football field. What is here and now is most important. The football game can be recorded on the DVD and played back later.!!

i think it's because us girls want u to pay attention to us not the TV! it's OK sometimes to watch TV but it really gets old with us girls after a while.i understand some guy's really like football so try and get you're girl into it if you can't give her some attention during it or give her money to go shopping.

me i watch football. so i would fit in just fine!!! Some women dont like cause u men tend to ignore.. Its not something u do on purpose.. U just get caught up in the game.. u tend to tune us out when we are talking to u.. just know we are here and dont forget about us while u watching the game.. k
