yes it is a terrible double standard. But who says a man is a "stud" if he sleeps with a lot of women? A stud has to be good at what he does, and the measure of that is whether the women want more.
How many men before a woman is considered a whore? some will call her a whore after one, unless she marries him first.

You Should sleep with as many as you like, society will always deem a man a stud (even if he's a dick) because he sleeps with a lot of women. Unfortunately for women society has and probably's always will have double standards. Being a man I have not had to deal with this problem, however If you are thinking of sleeping with loads of men I think you should firstly as yourself why? and secondly make sure the sex is safe.

I don't think that men who sleep with loads of women are studs. I think that is an immature way of thinking, usually present amongst the teenage/early twenties crowd. From what I see, sleeping with alot of women gives a man experience in the sack, BUT does not necessarily mean he is better in bed (Depends on the guy) and quite frankly its a turn off to the girls who have RELATIONSHIPS with him in the future. And most guys aren't gorgeous studs so they aren't sleeping around with gorgeous perfect girls- so big whoo-hoo you slept with a crazy with a hot body, or a nasty girl who was a freak or a cow with no style or personality... that doesn't sound so studly... And in terms of females, people will assume whatever they want, personally a woman's # is her own business, same with a guy's #. The shame is just a societal stigma because while we think of ourselves as very open minded... sexual revolution, etc... theres still that old fashioned way of thinking that women should be demure and not sexual creatures... but we're on our way... for me as a person I think of a manwhore the same as a female whore the same way.... that behavior's not for me, but if thats what you want, use protection, dont' spread diseases, and have fun. I would personally also be apprehensive about getting in a relationship with a sexually promiscuious man.

thing is...women are not sluts or whores...and it does not matter about how many men she sleeps with, she's still isn't, it's the people she sleeps with who give a woman such a name by telling their mates and bragging about it calling her an easy lay and such..then other people get word of it and assume that this girl is a ****....i hate it when people do that...it just shows that they have the mentality of a rocking horse...no women are not whores or sluts, some women know what they want and it's the likes of some shallow minded idiot who brand them....and yes...mud sticks...especially when some tit head starts sling it about the place....they should grow up...plus once a bunch of girls get to hear about it (because some dipstick fella opens his stupid mouth) that's when it becomes a problem for the poor person who's on the receiving end....were all equal, so why just brand women, why not brand men too...stud is a macho name and they think it's good that they bed lots of women....is there a name out there for a guy who puts it about alot...i think we should think one up...what do ya think? yes it annoys me when women have their names dragged through the sh!t because of some lame *** fella...it's just not fair
