Check out one of the beautiful winter resort locations in the Rockies. Lake Louise, Banff, Jasper, or a number of smaller resorts. How romantic is it to curl up by a fire drink hot chocolate and look out the window at some of the most stunning scenery in the world.

A place called the Couple Resort or Bear Trail Inn. It's in Whitney,Ont - just outside of Alqonquin park. It's a great romantic getaway with private hot tubs, jacuzzis and fireplaces. My boyfriend took me there last year to propose.

This is a small little lodge about 2 hours north of Toronto, off of the Lake of Bays near Huntsville Ontario. If you are looking for nice and quiet place with a nice fireplace, this is it. My wife and I try to get up there every fall, when the colours of the leaves turn. And Huntsville has all the amendities that you may need and close to Algonquin Park. Enjoy.

Key West Florida--hahah, that's funny.

Anyway---Niagara on the Lake is lovely (which is different than Niagara Falls, so don't worry about the "cheesy" factor of some areas of N. Falls)
Having said that, many areas of Niagara Falls are romantic as well---if you avoid the tackiness of Clifton Street)

In the west, there are many ski resorts in Alberta/BC that have nice romantic packages--just do a google search or an expedia.ca search......

Hello from Toronto, Canada:

The place I would recommend is Niagara Falls, Ontario!! So much to see and do there and of course very romantic, also close by is Niagara-on-the-lake with all the antiques and with the wine region so close by that you can go wine tasting and pick up a few bottles of wine for a very good price!! Ohh don't forget the butterfly conservatory. Niagara Falls is the Top romantic spot in Ontario!!

I highly recommend this place!!

Good Luck

Any where but Niagara Falls!!! Nova Scotia is incredibly beautiful (there are many nice B&B's) or Anywhere in BC or Alberta (skiing and cabins, bear skin rugs by the fire etc...) I guess it depends on your idea of romantic, if you are coming in the summer I would suggest cottage country (huntsville, bracebrige, I love Bala[The Bala Bay Inn has very good sex on the beaches]).

Anywhere in Quebec, especially Quebec City. It's one of the oldest cities in Canada, has cobblestone streets in the oldest areas, and fabulous French restaurants, and great views of the St Laurence River.

A lot depends on where you are and how far you want to travel. Canada's bigger than the US so you can go somewhere close or far away.

Whistler, BC
Banff, Alberta
Mont Tremblant, Quebec
Anywhere in PEI
Montebello, Quebec
Goderich, Ontario

There's tons more.

Victoria, BC on the west coast. It's cheaper than places like Banff or Jasper and warmer than Niagra Falls. Very beautiful, and you can go boating or walking or drive up island.
