A true friend would always protect you from anything that would harm you or hurt you. He/she will also respect whatever you feel like doing as long as it doesn't harm or hurt you. In other words, a TRUE friend is someone who will always treat you like a precious jewel. These so-called friends that you have are just the opposite. These are the friends that will pull you down and drown you till you can longer manage to stay up. Piece of advice, stir clear of them if you still value yourself. If you feel you can do it, be a TRUE friend to them and encourage them to change themselves for the better.

Dude let these people go, they could not possibly be good friends.

Not one of them tried to be supportive and help you through your decision to make a change.

I would go ahead and make the change, you'll find plenty of other folks out there who can be supportive and good friends.

Please be smart and accept the truth.

They are not mature enough to realize that there is way more to life than partying.

real life starts when you decide its time to grow up. And take responsibility.

I would definitely say, these aren't your real friends. Real friends would respect and support your decision.

I would stop hanging out with that crowd. They sound like they're all a bunch of jerks.

If they are true friends they would have filmed it and posted it on the internet. Jerks! What am I going to watch now?

One time something happened to me. I went to the nearest bin to find something to eat and they moved my bus stop. I'm homeless since.

These "people" are NOT your friends, get away from them NOW. There are a lot of decent people in the world. Go out and find them.

ask yourself this if do you want to stop partying?
is partying helping or hurting your life?
if you choose to stop partying can you still hang out with them and not get sucked back into partying?
and finally can they except the fact that you no longer want to party? i bet you already know the answer.

I don't think it means they aren't your real friends. They don't seem to respect your decisions, though. You have to designate certain friends for certain activities. Like those friends- don't go out drinking with them anymore.
