I have nothing against lesbians, but the butch ones really freak me out. Pretend like you didn't recognize it as a flirtatious comment. Dear God, pretend like you are so damn naive you didn't even get it, and try your hardest to keep the disgusted look off of your face.
One time, I saw a girl and a..person, with a buzz cut and i SWEAR to GOD it was a guy. They were like 15. We were walking behind them in the mall (my boyfriend and I), and I guess we all just happened to be going to the bathroom.
Now, this girl looked SO much like a boy, and they were holding hands and everything, that I didn't even THINK it could be a lesbian. I didnt think anything - UNTIL
My boyfriend went to the bathroom, and they both followed me into the ladies room. I must have looked like I **** a break when I saw them come out of the SAME STALL, because the manly one turned to me and said, "Hey, don't worry, i'm a girl".
Eww. What do i do? RUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

It has happened to me and let me tell you...I was shocked. I tried to be polite and let her know that it wasn't something I was interested in pursuing. She seemed to think that because she was attracted to me that I had to be that way inclined which was not the case. Needless to say I think she was disappointed but if your not into it your not.
