MATHEMATICALLY: 30 minutes. The Math is simple: If 2 men take 4 hours for a FULL hole, 8 men should take 4 divided by 4, 1 hour. Now, if its half a hole, it should be half hour.
LOGICALLY: 4 hours is answer. There's nothing called HALF-******: A hole is a hole is a hole is a hole is a hole. Either you have a hole, or you don't - there's nothing called half a hole.
You decide which answer to go with.
