Where do I find everyday average people to pose for my fantasy paintings?

I asked a similar question this morning and I was told that I was not specific enough. I prefer painting women. My inspirations are Steve Hanks, Louis Royo, and Borris Velejo. I am willing to pay for their time, but I am not sure how much to offer and I don't have unlimited funds. Nudity is not a requirement but I am looking for sexy poses. No one wants to see a painting of a woman in sweat suit. I paint oil on canvas. I have a few examples of my previous paintings on my website. I hope this information helps get better answers.

A few friends have posed for me and they are on my website, but I am surprised at how many people say no. I posted an add on Craigslist. That was a great idea to all who suggested it. I hope I get some replys.

Try art museums, places where people appreciate art and painting. You can even go to painting galleries and bring up the subject of your fantasy painting hobby. Upper class nightclubs could work or even a modeling agency. Good luck!

I imagine since you want everyday average people (which I commend you for!), you could run an ad in your local newspaper (just be sure they are over 18, and if they look young, get PROOF they're of legal age--this will save you some major legal issues)

Also, you could start asking friends of yours. I had an artist friend ask me to pose for him.

Put up adds on the various boards at colleges,.. the ones that advertise for roomies and such

You could always advertise. Try craigslist.org or a community college in your area.

Try the buffet, there are always hefty women there. You didn't say you wanted skinny women!
