I am not sure if what brands you can get but in the USA...Folgers has coffee singles. They look like a tea bag. It is the next best thing to perculated and does not taste instant.

If you just have to have instant coffee, I'd go with Community Coffee. It's the best coffee around.

Although, I don't know if it's available in the U.K. or Ireland. I guess if it isn't, you'll just have to come down to Louisiana and stock up for the long flight home!

Kenco by far. But why? Tubrook is probably the oldest way of drinking coffee. Just put the grounds in a mug and add hot water. Wait until the grounds sink, then drink, carefully!

I have the same problem. It depends how you like your coffee though. I drink my coffee black with the tiniest bit of sugar.

The best instant coffee in my opinion is Nescafe Gold Blend. I find Nescafe original far too bitter for my taste.

The truth is you will have to try a few name brands to find one that you truly like. It is all a matter of taste and everyone is different.
