Chester, cruise on a river boat up the Dee and have a cozy meal and walk the city walls. Llandudno go up the great orme in a cable car then go for an italian meal and book a b&b. Chester Zoo. Blackpool for a night and go to funny girls for a show and meal. Go up Snowdon on the mountain railway. Liverpool, loads there to do, albert dock, museums,Beatles tour, massive for shops, book into the raddison in the centre.

Um, I think you need to use your imagination a little, honey. London, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Manchester, Oxford, the Lake District, the Peak District, country homes, museums, art galleries, cafes, restaurants, historical sights...
There's no end to the list, but I sure as hell wouldn't have started it with Old Trafford!! ;)

The London Eye would be a good start. Don't know about Old Trafford though ! ! ! I would have to say a polite "No thank you" to that one.

the Trafford centre. Better buy her alot of gifts though - these women bought off the internet are very expensive to maintain you know.

it depends on what you like, guess though football is one thing...though hint hint it may not be everyones cup of tea. l suggest you go to the local tourist office....grab every attraction brochure you can, they are free..my favorite word...then you could choose together the trips you would like, and that way you are both happy....as you both have input to your time together, also you could get a scrap book and make that up as a keepsake and a pressie
