Does anyone notice the distinct difference in the taste of Regular beer, and non-alcoholic beer? I do and the non-alcoholic beer is pretty gross. It's like a diet soda ,they 've taken the best parts out. The alcohol is an integral part of the process. It compliments the barley, wheat and other ingredients. You cannot seperate that which was perfect in the first place. I think if people want a no-alcohic beer they should just drink root beer or ginger beer. I think a non-alcoholic beer would go nicely with a vegerian dish. Yeccch. Anyway, I don't drink anymore but when I did it had to be real. There was no substitute. Cheers.

I don't see the sense in drinking non alc beer. It doesn't taste that good anyway...better to drink water.

Then again, I feel that way about alcohol in general. Usually better and yummier to drink a cup of coffee!

I agree. If you can't drink real beer, there a many other non- alcoholic drinks that are not trying to imitate another.

of course.

i tried a non-alcoholic beer once and couldn't even finish it. It's like the difference between a porn mag and one of those 'almost nude' mags.
