Hello, not a good thing; afterall that relationship has ended so why the need to keep on rehashing it? Also this is not too far from when a prospective employee talks bad about their ex boss; doesn't send good thoughts about the person or the boss being talked about, so why do it?

Also it may mean that there are certain things that were painful but never dealt with so it may feel better to run a person down when they aren't present to defend themself; but why would a person want to do that? Would you want another person talking about you in the same way? Something to think about

Hope this helps

I perceive him as someone that has not gotten over his ex. I don’t want to hear about his ex, and I sure don’t want to hear him talking bad about her. After all, what would he say about me?

it's his EX...why would he talk nice about her in general. I know my ex is a b*tch, and will always be one. so it's just conversation. on the other hand though if they are still friends then that's a different story
