Got mum flights to Pisa for her and dad. 100 quid return bargain.
Like getting surprises. By the way me and my 2 sisters clubbed together on this one so it was 35 quid each!!

I wish I could afford to get her something nice. I can't even get anything for my fiancee this year, we're very tight on money now and will be for a while. If I could, though, I'd send her and my fiancee to a Day Spa for the "royal treatment" so-to-speak. They'd love that.

I got my mom something very uncreative . . . her favorite lotion and perfume. Since I am an adoptive mother of children from India I also got her a porcelian Indian doll to set on her nightstand (or where ever she wants to put it).
Have fun shopping! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Crystal high ball glasses. Mom can't drink much(makes her very ill) so it's something nice for her to drink her non-alchoholic tipple out of rather than the usual 'kitchen glass'.

I get her a gift-card for the coffee shop she goes to every morning - that way she doesn't have some big thing taking up room, but she TOTALLY appreciates it.
