Well, for the first question, I'd suggest looking at the first couple of chapters in Genesis, though there's a much clearer account of the creation found in the Pearl of Great Price:

For the second part, I'd suggest the New Testament, and focus either on the transformation of Peter from a self-doubting fisherman into the rock of Christ's church. Or look at the transformation of Saul (Paul) who started off persecuting Christians and then later became one of the greatest missionaries the world has ever known. (Acts chapters 8 thru 11)

There's also a great example of the transformation of an individual in the Book of Mormon, when Alma the younger had a similar experience with an angel and subsequent missionary service.

Hope that helps!

Read the book of Genesis for creation. As far as man's personality and growing positively or negativity this spiritual evolution is called sanctification for those who have faith.
We grow more and more like Christ as we mature and draw near to God. As for the negative evolution we grow more and more unholy or unwholesome or insane as we depart from healthy wholesome ways.
Another take on this is that in the very beginning God did not expect as much from man as is expected in the New Testament.
For example there were many wives and other such things that God allowed for a time. But then later He made His will clear.

Easy, The Bible begins by explaining the creation. (i.e. Genesis Chapter 1 onwards: http://www.nccbuscc.org/nab/bible/genesis/genesis1.htm ).

You dont seem familiar with christian views on this. Some Christians take this literally and other Christians (Catholic Church) does not demand a literal interpretation of this but rather takes the point out of the literal story (not that catholics are forbidden to take it literally) just the Chruch does not literally interpret these things, but does take in the message the Bible carries about it. Thus things like Big Bang are acceptable as they teach of a source of the Big Bang who had to be external to our universe, we call Him God.
Hope this helps, Please read the references for more details on how this is to be interpreted, its in an easy Q&A form from people who had doubts on a popular fourm. (the questions are answered by experts on these matters).

Genesis 1,2,3
Evolution is a diabolical lie. check this out http://www.answersingenesis.org/creation/v17/i1/god_evolution.asp

Just about every book in the bible has examples of the character of men and their failures and accomplishments.
The story of Joseph is a personal favorite Genesis 36 to the end of Genesis.

boy thats a big question, First start with Genesis and read through that whole book, Psalms is good too for inspiration, Read also the book of John to get a flavor of Jesus life and read Ephesians. Once you read these you might want to even explore more. Have fun!
