We all want what we can't have. The number one thing girls find attractive in guys is confidence. Girls don't want men to give them total submission. Most guys, believe it or not, actually want to make their girl happy. Some guys think that they can do this by bending to her every whim, because that's what they think girls want. This is completely wrong. Girls don't want a weak willed, pu55y whipped, slave. They want a confident man, an equal, maybe even someone who's dominant, but certainly not weak. You see, you chicks are shoppers, excellent shoppers! You want to get the best possible deal in a guy, the most bang for your buck. So if a guy just rolls over and become your obedient servant, subconsciously you say " Hmm, if I subdued this guy so easily, I am definitely selling my self short!" and Mr. Gumby will be history. However, if a guy actually gives you resistance, actually makes you feel that he can get another, better girl, (without saying that) then you will feel as though that guy is on the edge of your budget, a bargain and a hell of a deal! He must be, right? He doesn't need you, and that makes you want him bad! It's biologically hard wired in your brain, and there ain't a whole lot you can do about it, except understand what the h3ll is going on.

Good question!I've been in this situation many times before!!
I think the reason is that we get excited with the idea that we can't have what we want and the fact that there is challenge excites us but at the end we get really attached to what we think this person is like and we hurt ourselves on our own....But i really can't tell why we do that!!!

Save yourself a lifetime of agony and anguish, assuming that you are under 50, and give up on the people who do not give you the time of day....unless you like being ignored, used and under appreciated....Obviously, you prefer that to finding a man who cares for and really likes who and what you are...You CAN like men who will treat you like a queen...instead you choose martyrdom....Get over it and Get on with your life.

i completly agree with you in one reguard... I don't understand this either... me and my girlfriend love each other, and will be moving in together in a few months...
we each want to do everything for the other:), don't want to hurt each other, and all that... I don't understand these women that are into dating men that are ***'s... it just promotes the thoughts men have, that you have to be an *** to get a good looking girlfriend...
try really getting to know a guy befor you date them at all... or if you want to 'date' them to get to know them, then nothing more then a closed mouth kiss for at least a few months, that way you get to know each other, with nothing else in the way...

Obsession is not a good thing. Perhaps they just want what is hard to get.

it's the "forbidden fruit" complex. once people are told that they can't have someone/thing, they want it that much more...until it becomes an obession.
