You need to be thorough in JSP(Java Server Pages)/Servlets and JDBC for a normal dynamic website using java.

For uploading/hosting the site, you must register for a Domain name and pay Fee for Storage to a vendor, The Fee varies For Different sizes.

You will be provided with the ftp link by the , then go copy the web pages you have to the site.

here are some vendors:
flashwebhost
spectrum
yahoo

search them and contact them for details.

good luck.

For creating a site normally you need to register a domain name ie what address you will type to get your pages.

Yahoo.com will register your domain for as least as Rs 100 or max it will charge you Rs400.

After you get your own domain address.

Then choose a web hosting provider like godaddy.com or yahoo.com ( These providers have various packages like they support or dont support java) or there are plenty of free hosting servers try searching on google.

Having said all this, you can code your pages in jsp or at the most servlets and upload it to your web hosting server.

Then it can be said you created your own website.
