If it were that simple, we wouldn't have to deny ourselves ~
It's a wonderful thing and a good feeling to be able to be there for others. For me, it was just a part of my "nature." Now that I'm older, I realize that I've missed out on too much for myself. In other words, I've decided to be there for others the best that I can, but I don't put myself last.
Although, my family still does take precedence.

I am a parent, so I would have to say, yes. Simple pleasure can wait until my children have grown up and my job is completed. Then simple pleasures will be enjoyed more.

Yes! That is what life is about when you are a parent you give up your own pleasures for your childrens pleasures. Ex: soccer practice , dance classes etc...

Yes,

I think alot of women do it in the bedroom for the pride of their partner. Some of them do it alot.
I think that some women do it for the sake of their children.
I think alo of people do it and when they do it they usually do it for something or someone they truly care about.

Yes, this is what seperates us from those who are so self-centered. God sees every sacrafice that we make, after all look at the sacrafice that he made in giving his only Son, and then look at the sacrafice that Jesus made for you !!! G

Yeah. I deny myself happiness because there is somebody who always ruins it. So I just have up on happiness.
