This is clearly an attempt to PROMOTE sin !!
The meaning is clear. . . . .'Don't worry about what you do in Vegas, because nobody will ever know' . Go ahead and cheat on your spouse, go ahead and have sex with the Vegas prostitutes cause no one will ever know .
God Will Know !!!
I'm never going to Vegas, or spending one penny in Vegas !!
I'm not gonna support hedonism and a 'Sodom and Gomorrah' like atmosphere !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What do you think ???

It disgusts me too. As if we need another reminder that the world is sick and tainted. "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas." C'mon..we all know it's not talking about the gambling. That doesn't stay in Vegas..it affects the real-world bank account. So what's left? Oh, yeah, the things that we'd be ashamed of if others found out. Well, if something causes shame, then should you really be doing it in the first place? Common sense isn't so common, is it?

Think you may have got yourself wound up about nothing here. Went to Vegas a few weeks ago and yes there are a few T-shirts with the slogan on but they're not exactly thrust it in your face. That slogan can mean exactly what YOU want it to mean that is the advertisters ploy. Yes it can mean cheat on your partner but there are other places that advertise it more in your face - Amsterdam, Bangkok to name but two. It can also be taken as you losing a lot of money there or letting yourself go partying or going on the death defying rides there.
This was explained to us on a tour we went on and by a lot of people such as yourself is taken as the adultery thing.
It is known as Sin City for a variety of reasons, yes people do go there and sleep with prostitutes but you don't need to go there to do that, they are available in just about every city in the world. There is equal advertising for this everywhere - have you noticed that?
You really need to lighten up about this, if you actually went there maybe you would be able to see for yourself what is actually like.
I went there with my husband and know loads of other people who have been and we and they have not cheated while they have been there - even the friends who all went on a stag do there!!

I completely respect your opinion and I am in no way am I going to try to change your mind. However, I think everyone is responsible for their own actions. If someone is that weak and can't fight the urge to sleep with a prostitute, then they have problems. I think those sins as you put are everywhere, not just in Vegas.
I love Vegas, its a great town. I love the ad, because I look at it as a joke, not as life.

Ok dont go.. big deal. I dont give a crap if you go or not. How about you stop PROMOTING your morals on to us, and if we all want to go Vegas and sin , in your eyes, then let us do that. Thats so pathetic to assume if you go to Vegas your going to sin. You can sin anywhere if you like. Im sure you got prostitutes right up your road but hey, just cos you havent got a slogan telling everyone doesnt make it any different! How about you go to Vegas and pray for everyone there if you feel so strongly about it. Knobcheese!

I think it is a slogan that does promote sin....in example, the place is called "Sin City" and they are proud of it.
Yes, God will know because God never sleeps~
The city was built on a very liberal premise that anything is allowed to happen. Not just the cheating of spouses, brothels, gambling, open bars/cheap drinks so people will become uninhibited, but the low requirements to obtain a marriage license is also a major problem. Basically the only requirement is you have to be 18 and not drunk.
It is just one more additional slogan to represent certain parts of society's views that God doesn't matter, and additionally that we are free to live however wild we want to.
Not every Christian feels or acts like they are "holier than thou", but we do have our right to speak.
I would rather be a Jesus Freak any day than a Freak in Sin City~

I totally agree. But never say never........... you may be in Vegas some day. That doesn't mean you have to partake in the atmosphere. I totally agree that a city that promotes that kind of behavior reaps what it sews. And Absolutely nothing in this world is a secret, so someone is going to know and the secrets always come out.

I do think Vegas is a dirty and ugly place but saying you will never go there and never spend your money there when you never intended to anyway isn't going to change anything.

I think it's just a joke meant to show you that Vegas is fun. Good people will still be good people in Vegas, so what difference does a slogan make?

there is temptation everywhere. It all depends on how you handle it.
Me, I can't wait to get to Las Vegas.
I'm a one woman man, so no worries there for me. And I enjoy a good flutter.
