They are pointed out in the bible. but lets see these traits:
A genuine Christian lives according to godly principles. He does not steal, lie, cheat, or commit immorality. (Romans 2:22) He certainly does not murder his neighbor. Christian husbands take loving oversight of their families. Wives respectfully support that oversight. Children are trained by their parents and are thus prepared to be responsible Christian adults. (Ephesians 5:21–6:4) True, all of us are imperfect and make mistakes. But a real Christian respects Bible standards and makes a genuine effort to apply them. This is noticeable to others and gives a fine witness. On occasion, those who previously opposed the truth observed the right conduct of a Christian and were won over.—1 Peter 2:12, 15; 3:1.
Jesus showed a vital aspect of Christian conduct when he said: “By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love among yourselves.” (John 13:35) Satan’s world is characterized by “unrighteousness, wickedness, covetousness, badness, being full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malicious disposition, being whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, insolent, haughty, self-assuming, inventors of injurious things, disobedient to parents.” (Romans 1:29, 30) There is one organization that is not what Satan's world is, it is true Christianity.

Having your family wake up at 4:00am to go to a little white church service that starts at 4:45am That runs on a wood burning oven and has real candles on the real pine tree and only oil burning candles for light with a pump organ and old hymnal books and at the end of the service you get a red apple for coming and the church is located out in the middle of the country away from the busy of modern day life.

A true Christian tries to live as Jesus did. By this I mean that he tries to help other people find the truth which leads to being in heaven with God/Jesus even if it means offending them in order to show them their shortcomings.
A true Christian also realizes that his attempts to help people will sometimes be met with violence. Because the true Christian really cares about the fate of others, he is willing to risk his life to help them.

Someone who follows the teachings of Christ.
Not necessarily even believing he was the son of God, died for our sins, resurrected, or even existed.
There are so many different opinions on these things by different sects of Christianity that I feel one has to go with such a broad definition.
I find his teachings useful on a daily basis. I could care less if he walked the earth or if he was just a moral fable.

Hi,
I would say all the true Christians have died and gone to heaven.
From the example of Christians I have seen here on planet Earth, if they are what it is all about, you can count me out.
I believe in God, but not in the hypocrites I see calling themselves Christians.
If Jesus himself were dying of hunger and knocked on their door for a morsel of food, they would call the law and have him thrown in jail.
Most of them sing Glory Glory Hallelujah, and then try and sock it to you in the name of the lord. You listening bush?

A true Christian is someone who follows God commandments, accepts Christ as his Savior, fears and loves God above all else, and is repentant of his sins. Love is the centerpoint of all Christian hearts.

Following the teachings of Yeshua of Nazareth. Love God, love everyone else. Don't be hateful, but kind. After all, how's that song go? "They will know we are Christians by our love." ...?
