When Jesus was throwing the moneychangers out of the temple it was for one simple reason and it wasn't because they were rich (in fact most of them were just your Average Joe). He kicked them out because they were corrupt. Christians should be still be driving corrupt preachers from the church.

The said part is when they blindly follow corrupt leaders and those leaders cash in on their stupidity.

I don't. I'm Catholic, which means that the man who leads my religion on a worldwide level (the Pope) receives absolutely no salary. He gets a place to live, and food, and so on -- but no salary. He's hardly a wealthy man.

It also means that on a local level, my religion is led by a priest who makes an extremely humble salary while working many more hours a week than the average person.

Myself, I don't understand the attraction to these televangelists with their thousand-dollar suits and nice houses either.

That's one of the nice things about being Catholic -- the leaders of our church, comparatively speaking, actually live rather modestly.

Not all christians follow welthy preachers, if preachers are wealthy is because God has prospered them. Jesus drove those merchants out of the temple because their sole purpose wa to make money, and not whorship God.

Wealthy preachers are those who keep their hands in the donation plate. They will get their punishment when the time comes.

We should all be weary of false teachers and be guided by the Lord. I believe it is something we should all learn.

A bad generalization. People who go to those churches were with their pastors from the beginning and what makes you Think that the members are not prosperous or wealthy also? Christians should surround themselves with people who have a positive mindset on doing the things of God and prosperity is their reward.

Bill Gates is rich too so maybe we should stop buying computers. God can bless whoever He wants, including preachers. It doesn't matter how much money they have, what matters is that they preach the Word of God.
