aZOOM CAMERA WITH 35-70 is called 2x that is 35x2 and a 3x is 35 to 105mm. IT IS AS SIMPLE

A 1x is not a zoom. Zooms are measured in the mulitple of the lowest to the hightest focal range of the lens. Essentially, a 1x would be a fixed focal length lens. 50mm, 75mm, etc. A 2x would be a very small zoom - 20 to 40mm. A 3x would be 20 to 60, etc., etc.
