I had a bank account but got into dept, now i need another account but have a bad credit history and i have no id, can anyone help?

Sounds like you need to talk to a credit counselor. Make an appointment with your local bank representative and explain your situation (honestly! misrepresentation could end up causing you a lot of trouble). The worst they can do is turn you away, in which case you'd be back where you started. They will probably be able to refer you to a reputable credit counseling/debt reduction agency though. And they may even be able to set up a low limit checking account for you in the meantime. (Most banks offer "student" checking accounts, that have a $0.00 minimum balance, so that you don't have to worry about minimum balance fees as long as you don't overdraw on your account.)


And you'll need an ID - and not just for banking purposes!

Get yourself a photo ID. Then go to a major bank and they will help you

No I.D. ... No bank account! Why don't you have any I.D.? You need proper identification for tons of things, not just your bank!
