Would your parents die for you?
Would your parents turn their back on you if you refuse to acknowledge them?

heard of a World war II story ofa mothers whom was trapped in a frozen winter. While they were hiding under a bridge from the Japanese Invasion.
She took all ther cloths off and wrap around the her baby so the her child could live while she frooze to death.

Another was a mother whom turn herself in, because her son had commited murder. And yet her son still refuses to acknowledge her as her mother.

Our parents having this great passion ito forgive us in whatever we do and provide us never ending love.

And yet, Jesus procliam
"Love me more than your mother and father?"
"I am the only way to heaven"
Does it mean those who does not acknowledge him will not be his children?
How can this cliam that jesus love is more than our parents love for us?

If people will to refuse and not acknowledge christ, why wouldnt he posess that great passion to forgive us?

A soldier upon his return from vietnam called his mom and dad and told them he had a friend whose legs were blown off by a land mine and wanted to bring him to live with him as he had no family. His dad and mom after much consideration stated this would not be acceptable as they could not provide the kind of setting the lad would need to continue in life, but told the son to come on home that the veteran's administration would take care of his crippled friend. Two days later they received a message that their only son had taken his life and where would they want the crippled body whom had lost his legs in a mine blast sent to,they could only weep as they had rejected their son. Isn't it great that God like David has a place at HIS table for those of us who were crippled(Gentiles of ignorance) indeed HE loves us.

I believe that Jesus is gone. I respect his teachings and have learned much from him, but to me he was human, not a god. So I would have to say that I love my parents much more...

Fictional caracters of middle eastern tales & legends do not "love" anyone. Most parents do love their children.
The correct answer in my opinion is "your parents"

hmm. in my case, kind of a hard decision. but i think i love jesus better. because though i know that my mom maybe would sacrafice their life for me in an situation like that, i would probably do the same thing for her. and Jesus has already done that for me. he's always there for me absolutely whenever i need Him.
