Why is everyone assuming that the basketball player isn't smart or isn't going to make anything of himsel??? He may amount to more than the intelligent cute guy. I played basketball in High School and college and I was considered hot by a lot of women, and went to law school!! So don't count out the ball player. I say go for the basketball guy. He's probably smarter than we think!!

Intelligent and cute, this way you don't have to worry about as much competition. Depending on his profession, this will more than likely be the person who puts you first and actually has time to spend with you. On the other hand, any type of professional athlete is prone to groupies. I wouldn't want to be with someone who I constantly have to stress over because it isn't healthy. You also want to think about how much quality time you are really going to have and how happy will you really be when he is always on the road.

I would rather date an honest, kind, caring and polite guy who is intelligent and plays basketball.

Dating is one thing...go out with whoever and experiment. Now when it comes to marriage, you would have to think more...I think the intelligent one would make your life easier unless the basketball player is in the NBA.

definitely intelligent and cute because it would suck if you went out with someone you couldnt even have a conversation with. Most jocks only talk about sports and I definitely wouldnt want to be on the other end of those boring conversations!

It depends on what you are looking for. A longer, possibly meaningful relationship. Or someone that other people think is 'hot' or 'cool'.
