There are several ways to learn Snooker, however the best is to actually find a local pool hall that has a snooker table. The most difficult part to learn for most people is the art of defense. That is the whole meaning behind "snooker." If you can snooker/trick/hide something from your opponent, then that will enable you to hopefully have a better opportunity at running your point total up and making more money. The lost art of Snooker is fading in most areas, but some of your older pool halls may still have some tables around. I know of only a hand full in Indiana, a couple in Indianapolis, another in a small town of Bedford and then Terre Haute. I am sure there are others, just ask around or do a search on the internet. Below you will find the "text" answer to how to play snooker, tells you about scoring, equipment etc. Now if you are from the UK, you may still see this game is played.
