I was just wondering if perhaps it is God spreading it out so everyone gets an even amount of it.

I guess back when they thought Earth was a flat circle with Heaven spread over the top like a tent with stars painted on the ceiling it was easier to explain.

I believe the Bible is clear about the earth being a sphere on several occasions.

The fact that people used to think the world was flat and Colombus disproved it is yet another lie our teachers tell us.

The earliest globe, called the "Nürnberg Terrestrial Globe", was made during the years 1490-1492 by German mapmaker Martin Behaim.

THE FLAT EARTH WAS A PAGAN GREEK IDEA THAT WAS WRONGFULLY APPLIED TO CHRISTIANITY
Saint Augustine (354–430) argued against assuming people inhabited the antipodes:

But as to the fable that there are Antipodes, that is to say, men on the opposite side of the earth, where the sun rises when it sets to us, men who walk with their feet opposite ours, that is on no ground credible. And, indeed, it is not affirmed that this has been learned by historical knowledge, but by scientific conjecture, on the ground that the earth is suspended within the concavity of the sky, and that it has as much room on the one side of it as on the other: hence they say that the part which is beneath must also be inhabited. But they do not remark that, although it be supposed or scientifically demonstrated that the world is of a round and spherical form, yet it does not follow that the other side of the earth is bare of water; nor even, though it be bare, does it immediately follow that it is peopled.

Biblically, or by any other manner... gravity pulls the water to the earth's core... not south...

also Jesus mentioned the round earth during his teachings....

I can't remember exactly where, but when he is talking about the comming rapture he talks about a husband and wife sleeping and one is taking and the other left...

and at the same time he mentions two men working in the fields, one taken the other left....

in those days you went to sleep with the sun, so for this to happen the sun must have been shining on different areas of the earth at different times...

ala.... round earth

God set every creation in its place and nature has been faithful ever since. There things like gravitational laws but the whole point is God fixed everything in its place

someone yesterday mentioned that you used to have good questions. I tend to agree with that person. Your answers are good, but your questions are weak.
