Isn't that just as bad a breaking of their laws as abortion.
so you wait until their 17 and kill them whats the difference?
They don't like gays but they tell them don't ask don't tell.
Isn't that like saying do it but we don't want to know about it.
Seems that religion is confusing and not in agreement with each other even.

The Koran is condradictory and in one place states that Islam is peaceful, but in other places states that in order to truly gain access to paradise, one must kill all infidels--in other words, anyone who is not a Muslim. That is why we have Muslim extremists. In reality, they are the only 'good' Muslims, because they are doing exactly what their 'holy' book tells them to do--kill everyone for the sake of 'Allah' and Islam.

Christianity, on the other hand....the Bible states it is wrong to 'murder'. That is different than 'kill'. 'Murder' is when a person is innocent and/or has no hopes of defending himself. The Hebrews were to engage in 'holy wars', destroying the people who had disobeyed God's commands. This was GOD destroying, and merely using the people to do so.

Christ clearly states that the homosexual will not inheirit the Kingdom of Heaven (see Romans 1:24-32, 1 Corinthaisn 6:9-10 and Leviticus 18:22). It is not that Christians do not like gays (sadly, though, many come off as haters, when they should be trying to turn them away from their sins), we merely see their homosexuality as sin (as is told to us by God in the Bible) and often, unfortunately, do not go about the right way presenting that viewpoint and thus come off as haters. But don't yell at me. God said it in those verses I listed above. Not me.

yea probably u r right, they both say they hate war but sometime war is for good for getting rights. Muslims and cristians fight TOGETHER in Jerusalem and the holy land against the jews that kill there the question is who always begins not who is fighting at the end Defending yourself is a right that all the world must get. At the end it's not about religions it is about individuals that let the religion look in a bad way. zionists show the arabs that jews are bad and judaism is so but that is not always true. Maronites in Lebanon showed long ago that they are killers and rapers but not anymore the truth was revealed and it appeared that it was just few ones. Aperson doesn't represent a religion.

First of all, nobody ever said that any of us were perfect. Or that this world is perfect.

Second, there is nothing in Christian thought that says that war is ALWAYS bad. My brand of Christianity (Roman Catholicism) says that war is at times justifiable -- in very limited and strict circumstances, of course.

I don't know where you get this idea that Christianity holds that war is ALWAYS wrong.

Christianity actually holds that in some cases, war is a necessary last resort -- and it's much more moral, in some cases, to employ military action rather than, say, stand idly by while genocide and aggression are going on.

Third, there's nothing in Christian thought about not liking gays. Christianity has always held a "love the sinner but hate the sin" stance toward everybody, including gay people.

Religion becomes excessively confusing only when you hold to stereotypes and misinformation about it. Get more informed about it, and you'll find that it's much simpler than you might think.

I'm a christian and I haven't gone to war.
Most Muslims don't either. Just the radical ones...Yes a christian said that!
The wars the christians were in were in the dark ages and that hasn't happened in a long long time.
But you ask a good question, is the war we are fighting now in Iraq a christian war? I've talked with soldiers who fought there and they say the news here doesn't give us the facts. They say the Iraq's want us there and the ones that we are fighting are not from Iraq but mostly from Saudi Arabia. They are Islamic fighters who hate the U.S. So is this a war concerning christians? I'm not so sure.
