ABSOLUTELY NO COFFEE MUGS!!! Teachers get so many little dollar store finds and homemade gifts because kids enjoy getting something personal. But try to steer your child towards making a homemade card, then choosing something practical. I personally like antibacterial hand wash or lotion. Teachers are around germs all day. Gift cards to book stores, Starbucks, dinner, or movies are also nice. They can be used and not take up shelf space. Items for classroom use are also appreciated- gift cards to a teacher supply store, new crayons, etc. Teachers often purchase these items out of their own pocket. Merry Christmas!

Something personal, I am a teacher and you really get tired that even outside the school people keep thinking about you as a teacher and not as a person, so buy them something you would give to a friend and if you don't fell sure a gift card it's OK.

you don't want to get them something for school use. They work at school all day and they don't want to know anything about it in Christmas. Get them something they can keep at home or something they can use personally.
Old Navy has pretty nice clothes and I can definately see a pre-K teacher wearing something preppy and nice. A gift basket could also do it. Depends if they are men or women. I am a Man but I have more clothes than my wife.

Take a group photo of all the kids in the class, and frame it. I think that would be wonderful memories for the teachers..

My daughter's a teacher, and she loves to get personalized gifts, like a potted plant, with all the kid's names/year on the pot.
Also, restaurant and store gift certificates(WalMart, KMart, etc.) are greatly appreciated.
