They are both interesting and if I could ignore expenses they would be equally attractive destinations.

But since money is a limiting resource, SE Asia is a far better value.

It depends on the budget. It will be more cheaper in Asia than in Europe!
I am in the Philippines & we are already part of the Southeast Asean Countries. I had been to Hongkong and in the USA.
I had never been to Europe but had travelled vicariously. I am interested in Geography and had studied the 50 US States, Canada and parts of Europe and Asia.
I had used the Microsoft Encarta for Kids 2006 and Microsoft Premium DVD 2006. Yahoo travel has sites also which includes slideshow of the different countries and top 10 attractions for the place.
If I have the money! How I wish I can go to Paris, Czech Republic and probably Spain. Did you know that Prague is in the UNESCO list of historic places in the world? The Prague Castle is in the Guinness Book of World Record as the oldest castle in the world! It is the 2nd largest city in Europe.
Europe particularly Paris has alot to share. It is quite interesting. I am also starting to learn French through about.com. The French museums as Louvre is one of the loveliest in the world. French cooking is also interesting! There are alot to learn. I am impressed! Oh I almost forgot to visit the Queen in London and see the changing of guards in Buckingham Palace.
Did you know that once an American citizen you are just a citizen of 1 country unlike being a European , you can travel, live or work in any other member country which is a member of the European Union! Europeans formed the EU in 1993.
Italy is also interesting. Rome is its capital and largest city. Here you will see the famous Colosseum! Milan is its 2nd largest city. Did you know that the fanciest clothes are from Milan?The famous Scala opera house is here and so the famous painting, The Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci. Florence was one of the splendid Italian city states.

To choose between Asia or Europe is depending on many thing:
financial, purpose of travel (adventure, nature, culture learning, tourist destination), expectation (security, cleanliness etc etc).
So,
Finance: Asia cheaper compare to Europe. You have to change currency (if you plan to go several country), where as Europe you can use Euro.
Nature: in most western Europe, you enjoy quiet lake, scenic mountain, glacier. Whereas in Asia, you might probably enjoy waterfall, beaches. You can enjoy snows in Asia too (Japan, South Korea, China)
Security: you'll find better security in the airport, or in the city.
Cleanliness: some tourist spot in Asia is not maintained properly, unlike Europe. They dont have proper system to run the establishment (but getting better now).
Hotel: if you want to enjoy great hotel with excellent service, go to ASIA.

I live in Asia now, been living in Europe and been traveled to both continent.
I would choose to travel everywhere if I have the time and money to do that beacuse I beleive that traveling is about opening our eyes to other land instead of staring at our own homeland.

It would depend on what you want to experience.I am guessing you are from North America, so, Europe might be very similar, including the culture. But if you haven't been to Asia ever you could see a big culture shock. So, if you are into trying out new things go to Asia...

I think Asia because its an interesting continent with interesting people, interesting food and interesting locations to visit.

I prefer Asia. The food is better, the scenery is prettier and so are the ladies. cheers

I'll go to Asia and Philippines in particular because people are good looking and they smell good..... very good!
