Guys honking at you in public, the proverbial "cat calls" and "wolf whistles?" When was the last time you received any of this unwanted attention? Was it really an annoyance for you or did it boost your ego just a little bit?

It's an ego boost only if the guy is tasteful about it. If some guy is "cat calling" & acting like he has no class, it's no ego boost! Getting attention from that type of guy is no compliment!

I had a guy at Home Depot the other night trying to talk to me. He kept saying things like 'Hey babe" and 'Come talk to me'. It was a bit of an ego boost, but after a while it got creepy. Once he started following me around the store it really freaked me out. If a girl is interested, she'll find some way of letting you know. If she walks away, it was a great ego boost, but leave her alone.

okay this is the first time i ever told anyone about this and i think that it would be good for me to finaly tell someone.
okay the last time i received any unwanted attention was yesterday when i was rideing the bus back home and my ex boyfriend was siting in the sit next to me and in wanted to talk to my friend kimmy. so i sat with him so i could talk to her. and not even five minutes later he stared rubbing on my back, and than he stated to grabe my backside. i really dident want him touching me. and he just keep on going and like i told him to stop but he didnt. i don't even know what to think about him anymore. so this is the last time that that i recevied unwanted attention.

It's more of an annoyance and at times feels threatening. Think about it, an attractive woman is alone around town and some guy starts whistling and making lewd comments about her body. is he an @sshole or is he going to rape me. To me it's never flattering or an ego boost, it's rather scary.

ha ha good question. I got hooted at the other night. If the guy is cute I will sarcastically hoot back, but if he is not so cute its annoying. I'd much rather a guy cute or not to simply say hello rather than hoot. It just shows maturity

Usually I don't mind. It makes me feel good, but last night I ordered pizza and when the guy dropped it off, he wouldn't stop staring at me. It kind of freaked me out.
