I need to be regular sooooooon!

Fruits and vegetables, especially Prunes, but also some cereals (check the label)....the only one I can think of right now is Fiber One. They also market fiber supplements that is like a powder that you can stir into a glass of water or something like that, it should be sold at a drugstore.

The only thing that really helped me was a high-fiber cereal like raisin bran. Eating it everyday did make me regular. Laxatives can and will usually give you gas and the stir-in fiber supplements are in such low doses you probably wouldn't notice any relief. Eating my fiber like in the cereal helped so much.

High Fiber Foods:

Grain Products:

* whole grain breads, buns, bagels, muffins
* Bran Flakes, All Bran, bran Buds, Corn bran, whole wheat Shreddies, 100% Bran and Fiber 1
* Cooked cereal such as Red River and Oat Bran
* whole-wheat pastas
* whole grains such as barley, popcorn, corn and brown rice

Fruits:

* dried fruits such as apricots, dates, prunes and raisins
* berries such as blackberries, blueberries, raspberries and strawberries
* oranges, apple with skin, avocado, kiwi, mango and pear

Vegetables:

* broccoli, spinach, swiss chard, green peas and other dark green leafy vegetables
* dried peas and beans such as kidney beans, lima beans, black-eyed beans, chick peas and lentils

Nuts and Seeds:

* nuts and seeds such as almonds, whole flaxseed and soynuts

Well hole grain breads, coffee, fruits such as grapes, apples, figs and prunes are good to become regular. Try drinking prune juice that usually does it. Good Luck

Beans and bran have lots of fiber, as does broccoli (I think).

Whole wheat, bran, beans and legumes . . . Prunes should work.
