I used to date him but that was two years ago then I moved away but came back for the summers. i have now moved back and he seems to want more I care for him very much and part of me wants more but i don’t think it would work out I know he wants more a often makes it very clear. i just don’t want to hurt him.

im friends with him and his gran (he doesn’t live with his mother) he’s sweet kind respectful a little annoying playful truthful cant respond with a good answer when shopping (i dont like shopping or spending money so i don’t shop often) and strong, dose like to be taken care of. he holds what i say in high regard. I think u should listen with your heart and not your mind, meaning if u date him because u don't want to hurt him u Will in the long and it Will hurt more and the friendship may be over, so if u don't want to date him rather be honest and let him know gently and tell him how much u value your friendship.

sound like the old boyfriend from two years ago is pretty nice and wants you back you should give it a try and date him again cause you two have unfinish bussiness if you moved away from him so just try to date him and see how it works out

Well, he sounds like a nice guy, I wouldn't reccomend dropping him, if anything, give it some more time, tell him you're nervous about commitment, and need some time....at the same time, tell him you value his friendship.

I generally advise against re-dating exes. It doesn't however sound like there's any blaring reason why you SHOULDNT date him, though.
