He's actually in the sequel movie to "The Christmas Shoes" It's called "The Christmas Hope". They showed clips of it when I went to my church Sunday night for the Newsong concert.
I think the role is a bit of a stretch in light of the other recent stuff he's done (see: Harold and Kumar go to White Castle). Frankly I was surprised to see him in a Hallmark movie, especially one with religious undertones.
