Hi everyone here is my question, I have been getting these little "verrugas" on my face, I don't know how to say the word in english, but they are like little bumps not pimples though, and they itch alot. Sometimes they form a dry patch on my skin and makes my skin really dry and patchy, when I touch it it feels, really rough kinda like a piece of sandpaper!! LOL, but really though, there was a time when I started breaking out all over my body and I would scratch, these were different from the ones on my face, cuz these felt and looked like mosquito bites. They wore off, but the marks stayed, I went to two doctors and they told me that it was due to stress and depression. I do worry alot about certain things, but I do not think I am depressed. Do any of you think it might be something else and if it is stress how can I learn to cope with it so that i can stop affecting me physicially, and if its depression, even though I don't feel like I'm depressed, what can I do? very FRUSTRATED

What you describe sounds like a fungal rash. I have seen cases where cultures and scraping were not obtained in a timely manner. I would suggest two things:
First make an appointment with a dermatologist and ask him to get a scraping from the site. This is a simple topical procedure that does not case pain. They can also use a "black light" to determine if it is a certain type of fungus that causes theses symptoms.
Second avenue is to try to wash the affected parts of your skin in (don't laugh) selson blue shampoo. Leave it on the sites for several minutes before washing off. The chemical in this shampoo is for dandruff, which is caused by a fungus. It may help, if that is truly what the problem is.

The fungal problems I have seen leave a change in pigment in the affected skin. Check for this and relay this information to your doctor. It may help.

Sorry, I'm not Spanish speaking. However, the bumps on your body are probably hives. which can be brought on by stress. Your body will react to emotional issues. Also hives can be brought on by an allergic reaction to a variety of things. Pay attention to when you get the hives. How often and what you've eaten or if you are feeling stressed or worried at the time. As far as the itchy bumps on your face that cause dry patches. Sounds more like a dermatological thing. Not acne..but perhaps psoriasis, or severe dry skin. I have in the past experience similar bumpy dry patches. Usually only in the winter months. Due to using too hot water in the shower and overly dry skin.
I suggest you speak with a dermatologist (skin doctor) to get the root of the problem. If you don't "feel" depressed you probably aren't. However excessive worry can lead to all kinds of physical symptoms. See a therapist about the worrying and stress. Both things will help you get to the bottom of the situation.

Go to a different doctor.

(The doctor telling you you were depressed when you don't feel depressed indicates that you should see someone else.)

Go to a dermatologist.

Good success.
