That's funny you ask because I have a GSD and I don't remember him barking much until about 8 or 9 months old now that I think about it. Now he has a very deep and ferocious sounding bark at 2 1/2 years old.

Add: He still doesn't bark very much, his face is so expressive I think that's how he communicates.

You are better off if the dogs never barks. Shepherd's have a loud and resounding bark that is totally annoying to the neighbors. Why don't you just make a Shepherd's Pie.

properly German Shepherds are meant to be defend canines so she's basically doing her activity. yet, if it gets to the element that she's barking at each thing (that's looks like she could be) i might recommend filling a soda (or different metallic can) with washers/pennies/rocks and taping the mouth close. once you shake it or throw it on your dogs's course you will get her interest. tell her "no" or once you would be consistent do some thing like "no bark"...i might probable make her take a seat at that element and pay interest to you (make her shake, take a seat, etc) so as that she is distracted from the previous element she replaced into barking at. Is there some thing else stressing her out? canines are very keen to what's occurring of their proprietor's worlds...additionally in case you're no longer being the alpha maybe she's beginning as much as sense that she is or desires to be. be certain you're in can charge and you're consistent.
