Ok, here are a few!

The mental health of individuals who involve themselves with consistent and lengthy periods of Internet use remains a new area of psychological research.

As anyone with broadband access knows, infosnacking is as addictive as chocolate or potato chips-but without the calories. (Infosnacking, according to the Webster's New World College Dictionary mean dipping into the Internet regularly for little morsels of e-mail, or news, or online shopping)

The construct of compulsive Internet use (CIU)- also referred to as Internet addiction, Internet dependence, problematic Internet use, or pathological Internet use, has gained considerable acceptance within the last decade.

Hope this helps! What class are you taking?

I can give you two:

The internet has caused widespread addictions among users because of rapid availability, increased exposure to advertisement, and the ability to partake of activities in an entirely anonimous medium.

The internet has NOT caused widespread addictions among users because it is only a tool for people to use how they would have behaved anyway, it provides connectivity without forcing users to visit certain media, and it provides security measures such as content filters to prevent exposure to unwanted media.

With those two combined in a meaningful way, you should be able to write your paper in either direction.
