everywhere in S Asia has at least a couple of great things to see or do. That said, I'd personally avoid KL... It probably the only city in Asia in which I've never felt safe.. and there really just isn't anything interesting about it.. Most cities have something that appeals - not KL... Yuk, yuk, yuk!

I think no country in South Asia is worse enough for a holiday...living there is another story.

from the name itself, north korea is not "south" !
to answer your question: worst country to go on holiday in south asia?
- myanmar / burma
- also indonesia in Jakarta(everywhere you go, whatever you do.. you need to pay tip, tip and tip!). But not bali, bali is very nice place, I was there and its very safe!

I should think it's Afghanistan for obvious reasons.
It's amazing (from the few answers here) that people don't know the countries that comprises South Asia.

defo not laos, luang prabang and van viennte are great places to go, they used to be dangerous but not anymore, burma/mynamar (spelt wrong) is the worst, when i was travelling around asia we were told that it was too dangerous to go, cambodia and vietnam are well woth goin to, especially ankor wot in cambodia

depends on what you want to do on your holiday.
Also depends on what your expectations are on - language, food, culture, poltical environment, smells, ripoff merchants, your own budget....
You can go for safe, states like HK, Singapore or a broader experience. Your call....
