In order to manufacture healthy hair at the maximum possible rate, the body needs all the chemical components required to support hair growth, that can only come from taking pills that are designed specifically for hair growth and health.
I have been taking hair supplements for the past 3 years and here is what I have found.
ProCaps labs makes a great supplement called "Hair Skin and Nails" formula, here is the link for that
http://www.procapslabs.com/pcl/pages/pro...
This is in capsule form and easy to swallow. This company, ProCaps labs is also extremely reputable and carries pure and effective products.
I took GNC's Nourishair for four months, and supplemented it with extra Biotin tablets daily due to its low Biotin content. I took 2500 micrograms extra Biotin with the GNC pills.
The Procaps hair vites have 2500 micrograms of Biotin in them, and don't really require extra Biotin be taken, but I do take an additional 2500 micrograms of Biotin for a daily total of 5000 micrograms of Biotin.
My hair is growing in thick and dark and quite quickly. My hair used to be very slow growing, but all of these supplements have really made a difference.
The only way to really change the health of your hair is by taking supplements that work internally on the follicle where hair is made, any shampoos or oils or other topically applied things do nothing to change hair's structure, that can only happen with systemically provided support, which means supplements that you take internally.. Keep in mind, regardless of how many or how much you take of any supplement, hair is never going to grow at a "Jack and the beanstalk" type of rate, the most you can hope for is to improve the strength and health of each hair follicle and to see an incremental increase in the rate of its growth

It's genetics and your diet. Try to increase your protein intake, drink lots of water (whatever your weight is divide it by two and that is the amount of ouces you should be drinking in water a day), take some multivitamins (liquid is the best, you can get it from target , the one the sell is by centrum and doesn't taste great or you can get them at GNC), stay away from uhealthy foods such as chunk food, fried foods and get plenty of sleep (7-8hours a night). Try not to use to much thermal heat on your hair. Deep condition once a week. Try all of this for about 4-6mths if your hair still doesn't grow it's probably genetics. If it does grow you were difficient in certain areas of your diet and thats how your body was responding (your lack of hair growth).

Hair growth depends on a lot. the foods you eat do not have an effect on the growth of your hair, only the quality. Hair is mostly keratin, so some people swear by eating jello. There are some herbal supplements you can look to taking. Talk to your parents and see if they can find you a vitamin that contains Biotin. That should help your hair, nails and skin stay healthy.

Yes, it's mainly genetic. But there are factors which can actually block hair growth. When your over all health is up, hair growth rate is at its highest. Exercise, it improves blood circulation, very important for hair growth. Take a diet rich in proteins, iron, calcium and B vitamins. Take a mutivit-mineral supplement, if you want.
And for external care, keeping your scalp clean is important. Massaging it with hot oil once a week will improve blood circulation and help hair grow faster.

there is a shampoo and conditioner that helps grow your hair. My customers love it and by their testimony it works. I can't keep it in my store. Lanza Be Long shampoo and conditioner. They still have old packaging that says use steps 3 and 4 but they did away with them. My customers swear by it. Also eating healthy definitely helps growth!!

i'm taking Biotin, you could purchase it at walmart or walgreens. Its a diet. you could also try Nioxin products, they're type of costly yet they're truly good for hair lost, scalp themes, skinny hair and sluggish strengthen. At walmart besides, of their hair salon with techniques from the front.
