It depends on the person; I greet my European friends as they greet me - with a kiss on either cheek. Family and American friends get a hug, and my son gets a BIG hug from Mom :-)

No, Borat, I do not kiss everyone I meet during flu season.
During the rest of the year I do kiss friends on the face-cheek,
and I also do kiss people I dearly love on the face-lips.
I do not want to say anything more about this kissing business than that!
No no , do not ask me!
Hokay den? Hokay!

It depends on the person. Always on the cheek. Because that's the way they greet me.

well it depends where I am, if I am in Spain (I live there) I kiss everbody on the cheeks (twice) when I meet up with someone or when someone introduces me to a person..in Spain it is completely normal and it doesn´t mean a thing..
However, when I am in my country (the Netherlands) I only kiss close friends and close familymembers and never when I am being introduced to someone (then I shake their hand) In the Netherlands it is not that common to kiss when greeting, it depends on the person and the realtionship you have...ah, when we kiss we kiss 3 times, not twice...when I first started to live in Spain, my 3rd kiss always ended in the air..now I am so used to kissing just twice, that when I am in the Netherlands I only kiss twice and the 3rd kiss of the other person ends in the air, haha......I only hug very close friends when I haven´t seen them for a long time...

When I meet my girlfriend's friends, I kiss on the cheek because they are Iranian and that's their custom. I give my parents a kiss on the cheek sometimes when I see them. And I give my girlfriend a big wet kiss when I see her.

Other than that, I don't kiss much.

Only family and only female/female. And only on the cheek. The men of my family do not kiss anyone, they hug female relatives and shake hands with other male relatives.
