Last nigth was very busy and by the time my fella and I had a chance to sit down, we just had a few minutes. I sat beside him on the couch. He called the dog to his lap and petted her. He held my hand for a couple minutes. When it was time for me to leave, he kissed me bye and then told the dog that he would hold her and give attention for a couple hours tomorrow night. I feel jealous of the dog. Should I?

Is he your boyfriend or husband? It could be just his way of talking to the dog b/c he feels like he's neglecting it. Reason with yourself and ask, "I'm jealous of a dog??"

Yes!

It happened to me. I had a dog and was showing it more attention than my man, and It really bothered him. He told me it bothered him, and so I gave the dog away.
What you can do is, When Your man comes over, put the dog in its cage. That way He knows she is off limits for the night, and that it will be just the two of you.
Dont be a coward about it, but explain to him that the dog comes last in your relationship.

No. The green eyed monster just gets you in trouble. Nip it in the bud. You don't have to be attached at the hip to be in a solid relationship. A well rounded relationship should involve a lot of time with friends, and pets. Good luck.

i would make a joke to him about it... dont go crazy over this because its not a big deal but just joke and say something like..."ooh the dog gets lovin' and im stuck with nothin:(" and see what he says, he may not realize that hes paying more attention to the dog than to you you. Good luck.

Jealous, NO... reconsidering the relationship, YES. You should be the most important thing in his life if he wants the relationship... The dog can wait.
