Islam is the latest and the final religion. Would you like to buy a 10 year old newspaper? No. Because it has become irrelevent to today's reality. Islam is today's religion. Islam has a clear and single chain of Command. All power and Divinity belongs to Almighty Allah. He does not beget or was begotten. Life is simple and easy in Islam, because you establish a one to one relationship with Allah. There is no clergy in Islam. Muhammad is the last prophet as there have been 124,000 prophets in the past, including Abraham, Moses, David, John the Baptist. and Christ son of Mary. Unlike Christianity, Islam is a full time religion. You are busy from morning till you get to bed. Being relatively newer, it has much of its zeal and zest, intact. A Muslim will never sell or give away a masjid at any cost. But many churches have been sold out and turned in to bingo halls in Europe and USA. The western society has become a permissive and Godless society. Nobody abides by law. Even the priests have been arrested and fined or punished for molesting girls and children.Muslim ulemaa are not perfect either, but they are far better than Christian priests. You still find love of parents and offshoots among Muslims. Rights of siblings, neighbors and offshoots are recognized in Muslims and everybody is not living alone as in the west. You can still find chaste girls among Muslims and boys who have not indulged in sex, before their marriage. I invite you with all sincerity to Islam. You will lead a happy and content life as a Muslim and can hope to get a place in the permanent bliss, called paradise. Muhammad Javed Iqbal

I do admire the modesty part of Islam at least in the moderate muslims.
I think we western women should a lot of times have more respect for our bodies.
Christianity--freedom to question our beliefs.
It's true that some Christians do bad things, but I know muslims who have their faults too.

I don't think either one is the definitive religion. Both arise from Judaism (which is my personal choice of faiths), but I don't believe THAT is definitive either. Rather, I think that there are many different beliefs, and that each one contains a grain of truth. To me, the important thing is to discover the one that speaks to YOU (if any), and use it as a standard by which to judge your own behavior, as opposed to judging your behavior in comparison to other people.

Under Islam you would die for the race you are unless you are Arabic, Under Christianity and Judasim you would be allowed to live as the God of Israel and Christianity respects all life even the Arab and the unborn child are all precious in HIS sight. Under the Koran all infidels must be put to death this includes all but Arabs and only those Arabs which support the Koran 100%.

Stop that!
The watchword now should be reconciliation not separation. There is a prayer from Hazrat Inayat Khan (ra), the great Sufi Saint, in which there is a line:
"Raise us above the distinctions and differences that divide us."
All in all there are far more similarities than you might think.
And Allah knows best
Peace and Blessings,
Salim

Jesus is the big difference. I have talked with Amams & am myself a pastor. The big difference boils down to this question, "Who is Jesus?"
Christians-God, the resurrected savior, the way to salvation, the truth, the life.
Muslims-a prophet

Hmmm....difficult one. Let me see now............they both are based on bizarre (but sometimes poetical) stories creation, salvation, etc, and they both exact a high price in terms of humans handing in their brains in exchange for some sort of comfort, brought about by denial of the reality of death.
Tough one. As religions, I would choose neither. Both nonsense. as cultures, i would choose christianity, as it has embraced and been tempered by western liberal history.
