There are alot of girls out there with more guy friends than girls (I am one of them). Whenever I meet a guy with some kind of attraction going on it has been in a new place, like a new job, or somewhere I haven't been or rarely go.
I'm guessing, if you are acting like a tomboy, most guys aren't able to see a feminine side of you. On the other hand, if you are very feminine and keep hanging with the same guy crowd, they are probably too used to you and the boyfriend/girlfriend relationship isn't on their mind, they like you as a female friend.
If you are able to get around guys who don't know you on an everyday basis, you may have luck there. I don't know what your lifestyle is like but get a (girl) friend or two to go out with to a club and hang out, or try attending a church out of your area, get involved in volunteer work...anywhere where you may have a chance to meet new guys out of your inner circle of friends.
It's just an idea. If you are comfortable around your existing guyfriends, mabe ask them for suggestions? Good luck!

Believe it or not one day you'll find someone that accepts the fact you have more male friends. Whenever I would date a guy he would automatically assume that there was something aside from my friendship that was keeping all the guys around. Fortunately, now I am with someone that doesn't care and actually values the friendship I have with my male friends. Love comes when it feels like it--not when we wish it would come. I was pretty much finished with males when Landon came along and almost didn't give our relationship a chance, due to him being 2 1/2 years younger than me and the fact I have 2 children. It's best to actually become friends with a guy before you date, and let him hang out with your other male friends, just to be sure that nothing is going on. But a person who trusts you wouldn't think this in the first place without a damned good reason. For now, I am sure you are MANY people's special someone, even if you're not with them intimately. Whenever love does come, if you allow it to happen naturally, things are less likely to fail, like if you were to hook up with Mr. Wrong while you're trying to find Mr. Right.

You consider yourself to be different in what way? Different from whom?
We don't always get what we want, when we want it...instead of seeking out or searching for a partner, relax and enjoy life...make your life NOW wonderful...be happy with who you are and what you have...
When you are busy having fun and going about your business, you won't waste time bemoaning the fact that you aren't in a (romantic) relationship...and that's when you'll be ready to be a good partner to someone else...and when someone will cross your path...

You don't find true love, it finds you.
The right person will give you a chance, and when that chance comes you'll know it's the right person.
Those that don't, are not right for you.

I would be willing to bet that there is someone that has noticed you. Relax and have fun. That is what is important.
