There have been numerous concepts of a heaven state found throughout history and all over the world. The Christian concept is another of many. It has been stated that Heaven is within. When we are able to go within ourselves and contact our spiritual self, the soul, this is the doorway to heaven, the gate if you will. Jesus taught this as do the Hindus and Buddhists.
To gain entrance is a long pathway of life after life learning, growing and developing our selves to earn our place with God.
When a baby dies or anyone else for that matter it is only the physical body that passes and not the soul. The soul continues on. It does not die.

Jesus explained that in the story of the rich man and Lazarous. Before Jesus' death, the place where the souls of the just dead people went was called the bossom of Abraham. There they wait peacefully while the non just people were tormented in a close place. The two sections were separated and no one could go to the other place. After Jesus death and resurrection He took the just with Him to heavens.

God is all-knowing, which means super-intelligent! He will include newborn babies.

I don't know if i buy into the fact that Muslim's believe in Yahweh, or Jehovah, as being their God. They don't believe that Jesus is the Son of God, either. Some muslims believe that God couldn't let His Son die on the cross, and at the last minute, put a look-alike evildooer on the cross.

Yes there was a heaven before Jesus came to earth because he is the one that created it. And as for babies going to heaven, there is something called the age of accountability which means that jesus will not hold you accountable for your sins until you are old enough to distinguish right from wrong.

There was a heaven, and all those who trusted in the PROMISE of a Savior entered in upon their death. Today, for us, the promise has already been fulfilled. We trust in the same promise of salvation that the Old Testament believers put their trust in.

yes there was but until God had to send His Son to save mankind, our minds were not open to the concept because we had strayed so far from the truth...much like today...why do you think He is coming back...we have screwed it up again...
