If all you need is your blood pressure checked, you can go to any Walmart store and go to their pharmacy area. They have a blood pressure machine there that is free to use. So do many of the other larger pharmacy stores throughout the state.

Another free option is to drop by an Ambulance service. I'm sure one of the EMT's on duty would be happy to do your blood pressure as a courtesy (we would were I live). Often fire department personnel also have BP cuffs and they can take your blood pressure too - also for free.

If you need a full doctor's office visit, then you will first need to find a physician that is accepting new patients, then schedule an appointment, then pay a new client visit charge. Usually these run in the neighborhood of $150. I'd go with the free options!
