Love is a special feeling. It takes different hues in different times and with different people you love. Love for mother, sister, brother, pet, a kindred spirit, downtrodden, sick.....
Love for a gf or bf is a bit different.Love requires giving. The more you give the better.Love should not command. The love is returned in many forms. The best form of love is care.Love does take a carnal turn.It comes and goes. What remains in the wash is tender feelings, that special feeling.

The Meaning of Love offers and explains a definition of love in a way that is interesting, intense, clear, logical, and meaningful. All relationships --love, infatuation, friendship, dating, marriage, family, community, and professional-- involve three key elements:

Emotions --how we feel about each other
Ethics --how good or bad we are for each other
Joys --how much we satisfy or dissatisfy each other
These determine the quality of our relationships; and The Meaning of Love explains how they interrelate, and why attraction --the normally considered most important emotional element and conventional hallmark of love-- is not sufficient to signify a relationship as one of love, no matter how strong or how enduring that attraction may be.

Love is a basic dimension of human experience that manifests itself in feelings, emotion, behavior, thoughts, perception and attitude. It influences, underlies and defines major patterns in interpersonal relationships and self-identification. Love is variously conveyed as a sense of tender affection, an intense attraction, the foundation of intimacy and good interpersonal chemistry, willing self-sacrifice on behalf of another, and as an ineffable sense of affinity or connection to nature, other living beings, or even that which is unseen.

The diverse range of meanings associated with the single word 'love' is commonly contrasted with the plurality of Greek words for Love, reflecting the depth, versatility, and complexity of the concept. This diversity of meanings is further reflected in the many distinct classifications of love including: romantic love; sexual desire; platonic love; religious love; familial love; true love; and the more casual application of the term to anything pleasurable, enjoyable, desirable, or preferred, including activities and favorite foods.
