people drink sheep, camel and Yak milk as well.
I'm sure there are loads more.
Coes and goats respond most to hormone injections so produce more milk. Its a cost thing ( and therefore you should avoid commercial milk, its not natural anymore )
Oh, and we also drink human milk.

People drink camel milk. Seems to me I've read of Yak milk being used, both straight and fermented. Some do use tiger milk (although not usually available at the local store)
Pretty hard to get the milk from other animals - tough to milk a squirrel, for instance. Or to get a whale to stand still long enough.

It differs from culture to another. Mongolians use horse milk and I've had reindeer milk as a kid. Goat and cow give more milk and for longer period after giving birth than other animals so the milk's easier to get and they are both adapted to different conditions well.

I don't know--I wouldn't want to drink like, rabbit milk for instance, it seems like it would be gross. I think the main reason is probably cows (and goats) can produce more milk than some other animals, because they are bigger, and maybe the animals are less expensive to raise, and less expensive to milk.

We drink human milk when we're young babies!
I suppose it's just easier to get. Cows don't mind being milked but I wouldn't want to milk a lioness or a tigress!

Have you ever tried to milk a pig? - lol
Yak milk is used to make cheese... the fat content is so high, it's not usually consumed as milk... not sure about any other animals.

I guess it just depends on what kind of milk you want to drink.
