I am a man of faith and i believe that God sent his son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for the sins of everyone. I believe that Jesus rose again after three days and walked the earth for 40 days and then acended into heaven. But i believe that religion is wrong in its entirety. Mind you that i think all religion is wrong.

My opinion of Religion is it is man attempt to please GOD. GOD does not Religion. HE wants a relationship with you and that relationship is through HIS son JESUS the CHRIST. Who as you said is true.

Yes, i agree with you in a way. I myself believe in god, i believe that Jesus walked the earth and that he was the son of god. I have been given no reason as of yet not to believe. But, i do Believe that religion does have its negative effects (but i do not deny its good effects). I believe religion slows down and restricts the development of man kind. for example, I heard several months ago that the pope told Stephan hawking not to look into the first moments of the big bang. why? I just find religion has it's negative effects.

It is pretty tough to believe in something like that, but we do. That is what faith is all about. How can we really be sure? We can't. We need religion to keep us on the moral path. Times have changed though. Now people are overly religious. Coming to your house to spread the word. I don't like my privacy invaded or my beliefs questioned. I don't go to church on Sunday, I have to work. More people have died in the name of religion than anything else. Wars are started over religion. It is so sickening. So many "Gods", which one is true? I just try to be a good person, not sin, and have faith. What else can I do?

i've got self belief that maximum religions have been created in an attempt to describe issues. i think of tehy went by using somewhat the place they have been used to regulate those with threats and provides. i think of a few nevertheless are that way in some tactics. i think of in particular now faith provides human beings some thing to have self belief in, decrease their fears, and rally at the back of. As for the memories interior holy books etc, it continues to be a count of discussion among some over no count if or no longer those issues have been meant to be taken actually or interpreted for a miles better meaning, or the two. i've got self belief there's a super style of stable in faith. I additionally think of that in the time of centuries to come again, our religions would seem as unusual to those human beings as Roman and Egyptian religions seem to us now. i've got self belief that religions, like human beings, are continually springing up to grow to be extra useful, extra useful, and extra comforting as they learn extra and persist with what they have discovered to their preexisting awareness. And on a extra own observe, i've got self belief that this isn't any longer likely that we are going to ever be effective of what any greater being that would exist particularly needs from us. So all we are in a position to do is attempt our maximum suitable; no count if which means following a faith or looking your guy or woman direction.

I believe that if you know there is "something" in this universe greater than you and you live your life not harming others than you are OK. I am a Christian, but I respect other faiths and don't push my beliefs on anyone.
live and let live, I also agree that organized religion is overrated.
Belonging to a religion does not mean much, you have to know in your heart that you are a good person.

well i guess you could say i have no religion. but i think there has to be more then just this. and i believe that anything is possible. as far as organized religion i think it's a crock. i don't think any of them have it all right. i think the whole concept of what the bible was trying to say is good: respect one another and what not. but alot of it just seems like a bunch of tall tales.
