People will only stop doing that when there are no more people, or no more cars. It's dreadful, you are right!

I had a cousin, Tyrone that passed away back in 1993 when he was only 10 years old. He got hit by a car while crossing the street on Linden Blvd and Hopkinson Ave in Brooklyn by a driver who did not yield to pedestrians. I think car accidents will always be a problem, have no idea how to solve it...all I know is I'll never get my little cousin back.

It's never going to happen. Too many young drivers, too many crappy drivers. Cities keep growing and the number of drivers just increases. Where I live, everyone is always in such a hurry. You can be doing 5-10km over the speed limit and still have people fly past you like you were standing still.

Hmmmm, lets see.......probably NEVER. It's not human nature to be nice all the time. (for most people)
Come on, be realistic. You might as well ask when there will be world peace. (never, if you need to be told)
