Very rarely in life is there any such thing as a free dinner or even lunch, said or unsaid people give in order for something back in return, even if that thing back is to be liked. Is there a problem with reciprocating ? In a world full of shameless takers, is it really so wrong ............ The meal will probably be made with more heart than whatever the dessert will turn out to be anyway.

Not necessarily. I used to date a guy who loves cooking, he would always cook me all these delicious meals, and he didn't expect me to do anything, no doing the dishes, no sex, no nothing.
He could just love cooking and want to share with you, doens't always mean he is after something to be nice to you =)

Not necessarily, but I'd say that if he's going to the effort of cooking you dinner, the very least you could do is supply dessert or a bottle of wine.
(I know you what you meant........and the answer is still "no")

No. I observe not all men want something in return. It is the character of a person that depends.
A man who falls in love is giving. He would do anything selflessly to make his partner happy.

Not all men expect something in return. I think a lot of them hope for the possibility of it though.

I want to say yes but really I think he would like the "dessert" and is hoping for that.
Hopefully, he is just a Betty Crocker!

Some men like to cook, all the best chefs are men. It can be just a hobby.
