What I mean is that after reaching the things and already in my hand I felt no more amused and I look for another thing to get. And make me mad and blame myself of not getting it or producing it. Is this a matter of achievement or a matter of satisfying urges?

material things only provide temporary satisfaction because our brains have been trained to expect something new and better next week...you need to develop your personal relationships with friends, family and a church community to really experience the pleasures of life. I was always bored and unhappy until I gave up on "having" and turned my focus to "giving"...

Material items only satisfy one for a short term. You have to look within yourself to see what it is you are missing or really want. Its like the missing piece of the puzzle. You could have all the items you want in the world but the happiness of it wont last forever. You will get bored with it all and want something else.

Dependancy on getting or obtaining things can be a rush at the time but this soon diminishes the more you do it.
You are not being satisfied fully because something or someone else needs to fill that gap/area in your life.

Think about it, you know what that is more than anyone else can tell you.

Because only God can truly satisfy. You are going after the things of this world. They are temporary. God is eternal. Live your life for Him and you will have everything you need.

I think it's the thrill of the chase. You want something so bad, you spend all your waking moments thinking about it, wanting it. You finally suceed, and now there's nothing to chase anymore. Or maybe everything you wanted, wasn't what you thought it was?

You could always get a hobby.

Because satisfying your earthly wants doesn't make you happy forever! Spiritual gifts last forever!
